Global cleaning platform Helpling introduces online booking for professional cleaners to the UAE market

Helpling, the global online platform for home cleaning services, has announced its launch in Dubai on 3rd Feb 2015. The innovative location-based service enables people to book professional cleaners within 60 seconds. The launch in the UAE reinforces Helpling’s status as the world’s most widely available online marketplace for household services. Its service is now live in more than 170 cities across four continents.
Helpling brings the convenience of taxi or food apps to a new category: it turns cleaning into an on-demand service. “Consumers are already used to ordering food online, and having it delivered when they want. They book cabs online, arrange carpools, and even have their shopping delivered. We wanted to extend that same idea of convenience to another essential service – cleaning,” said Manar Alkassar, Co-Founder, Helpling UAE.
How it works
Helpling addresses a key consumer issue – of finding reliable cleaning help quickly, conveniently and without any commitment. Its simplicity does away with browsing classifieds, numerous phone calls and failed appointments when no one turns up.
A simple 3-step process is all it takes to get professional cleaners to the customer’s door. Clients are asked to enter their location, confirm a date and time for the appointment, and choose a mode of payment. The booked cleaner shows up at the appointed time and payment is processed only after the cleaning is completed.
