BERLIN, March 12th, 2014: Helpling, the leading global platform for on-demand home services, has announced today its launch in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This move solidifies the company’s status as the worlds most widely available online marketplace for household services. Today, Helpling offers customers on-demand access to cleaners in more than 200 cities, in twelve countries, across Northern and Southern America, Europe and Asia.

Helpling enables customers to book a vetted and insured cleaning professional online, at a competitive price. This reduces the lengthy search through agencies, classified listings or recommendations on the black market to a simple 60 seconds process.

Benedikt Franke, co-founder of Helpling “What Singapore, UAE and Australia share is that they have the perfect trifecta for our business model: A very service orientated consumer culture, with a history of home services. These countries also have a very well developed mobile consumer culture but the home services industry has, thus far, not kept up or integrated the advantages that digitization brings along. We are here to fill this gap.”

The expansion follows the company’s rapid roll-out in Europe and a $ 17 M funding round in December 2014. Today less than 1 year after launch, Helpling has served more than 50.000 homes.
